Happy St. John Bosco Feast Day! Today we’re celebrating the Catholic feast day of the 19th century Italian priest, educator, and writer after whom The Don Bosco Centers was named. Popularly known as Don Bosco, Giovanni Melchiorre Bosco was renowned for his dedication to the education and upliftment of disadvantaged youth - at a time when his community was suffering the ill-effects of industrial and urban growth. It is fitting, then, that we follow in his footsteps, embracing the ever-changing needs of the Columbus Park and northeast neighborhoods, as well as the greater Kansas City metropolitan area.

As we celebrate our 80th year, the legacy of St. Bosco lives on our Senior Center, our ESL School, and our renovated Community Center (Spring 2020). We invite you to learn more about what we do and consider supporting our mission to cultivate self-sufficient and contributing neighbors throughout Kansas City!
